As I stood by my stove browning strips of pork chops, my son yelled out..."What are we having?" "Fajitas"...long pause... "I think." That became the joke of the night. O.k. so usually I begin supper by browning something. Hamburger. Sauteing onions. Then I decide what I'm making as I go along.
It dawned on me. "That's why I can't cook...good." It's because I forget that it needs a beginning, middle and an end. An introduction, body and conclusion. It can't just be a work in progress forever!
Strengths and Weaknesses. Everyone has them. But have you noticed that strengths can also be a weakness? What some say are my strengths...others would say are my weaknesses. I'm sure that goes both ways.
Back to the Beginning. Or the middle or maybe the end.
Life is such a series of transitions and steps that I sometimes forget to stop and take a look around and see what I'm in the middle of.
Does it need a beginning or does it need an end.
