On reading and thinking and writing
Catch up on my yard
On picking up
On throwing away and organizing and cleaning
Catch up at work
At my office
At my desk and my files and my car
Catch up at church
With our people
Calling and chatting and checking
On this Saturday morning I sit still under the warm comforter with my dog. Listening to the welcome return of my mourning doves and the chimes outside my window.
The side of the bed still warm where my husband drank his coffee and listened to the news with me.
Two boys are still snoring and sleeping.
Thinking of all I should and could be catching up on today.
Maybe first.
