Maintaining the fire in one's heart to do is the subject of this blog.
Fueling desire builds the energy we need to overcome any obstacle, barrier and resistance to fulfilling the calling of one's life.
Desire can mean; strong feeling of wanting something. It can also be defined as: to wish, long for or crave, object of longing.
I want to make a few of my own. One being an unmet need and another is one's calling and burdens of the heart.
Think about a period of unmet thirst.
Have you ever been thirsty?
Thirsty to the point of being willing to do anything to get it?
Where the focus of every action is to meet that one desire?
Are we so satiated and full of our lives that we cannot feel that desire? That true desire in the middle of our heart that drives our lives.
Do we self-medicate those aches in order to pretend they do not matter? We mask fear of failure or people pleasing tendencies with minimizing and justifying lack of desire.
Maybe the still small voice has become drowned out by the noise of life.
Focus can be a key to help us reignite the Heart's Cry.
